Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive

Where the role is based: HQ Office, Holme, Cumbria

Hours of Work: 37.5h p/w between 9am & 5pm

Holidays: 28 days paid holiday (with an extra day for each year of service)

Job Description: We are looking for a PPC expert to join our fast-paced, internal marketing team. This role's main purpose is to take ownership of our PPC platforms & support campaign optimisation across all other platforms, including but not limited to the following; Facebook Business Manager, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest.

We are looking for someone with at least two years PPC experience, ideally within an agency/retail environment but this is not essential. Data-driven, analytical & motivated by results. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Taking ownership of 11 Degrees' PPC activities and increasing ROAS percentages
  • Conducting market research & feeding back to the 11 Degrees team
  • Working across Social Media platforms to increase the awareness of 11 Degrees in key markets
  • Communicating with 3rd party companies such as affiliate networks & the web developers
  • Helping to aid 11 Degrees' entry into foreign territories
  • Working with the website developers to improve/optimise the website (putting the customer journey at the centre of all decision-making)

Personal Specification

Skills & Abilities

  • Significant experience working on PPC Platforms incl. Google Ads & Bing Ads (essential)
  • A proven track record of meeting a business's performance marketing KPIs (essential)
  • Experience working on Social Media Platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest & Youtube (essential)
  • Experience of using Google Analytics for market research purposes and data reporting (essential)
  • Experience writing copy for Email and Social Ads (essential)
  • Experience working on Facebook Business Manager including working knowledge of the following (essential) - Pixels
    - Attribution
    - Ad setup and targeting
    - Catalogues
    - A/B Testing (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Product Feeds and Merchant Centres (desirable)
  • Experience of using Google Analytics for market research purposes and data reporting (essential)
  • Understanding of affiliate networks and how they can be useful to ecommerce sites (desirable)
  • Advanced Excel knowledge would also be advantageous. VLOOKUP/MATCH/COUNTIFS will be used regularly - a willingness to learn is key (desirable)
  • Experience of using a CRM platform (ideally for retail purposes) (desirable)
  • General understanding of SEO best practises (desirable)
  • Some working level of foreign language ability would be advantageous (Spanish/German/French are of particular interest although other European languages are a bonus) (desirable)
  • Knowledge of web development & HTML not required but would be advantageous (desirable)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional qualification in Marketing or a related subject. Professional certifications may be considered. 
  • 2-3 years experience in a fast-paced marketing environment
