Chris Powley and Chet O’Connell are no strangers to the bright lights of life on the stage.

Individually they are well known artists and their experience has grown from a diverse array of genres, groups and events shaping them over the years into the well-grounded performers that they are.

Needless to say that as a duo their combined talents will have you entertained from the moment that they step out onto the stage.

This year they have been awarded the Variety Artist’s Club of New Zealand’s Best Comical Act which officially recognises their ability to carry a crowd by keeping them entertained through comedy.

But it’s not all just jokes… if there is a serious job to perform such as hosting an event or running an awards ceremony they have the ability to draw the attention of the audience to the matter at hand with the intention of getting them involved in a light hearted way when the “job" is done!

                       

With regular performances at Auckland’s Sky City casino in a number of roles there is often a chance that you can see them in action should you need convincing!

A special note is that their style of comedy is best suited to audiences over 35years old, since part of their act is based around a routine that draws from New Zealand based entertainers who were known for their larger than life performances. For example, the Topp Twins (pictured above), Dame Kiri te Kanawa, Billy T James and many more!

They do not use profanity as a means to get a response so you are safe even for your most discerning guests!
